Since its establishment in 1946, Stiebel-Getriebebau GmbH & Co.KG has been based in Waldbröl near Cologne – true to the company's motto: Innovative by tradition. When Wilhelm Stiebel started with the development of shaft-mounted gearboxes at the beginning of the 50's, his company was one of the first on the market.

Numerous standard-setting solutions for the conveying industry evolved from the drawing board of Stiebel. This area was subsequently complemented by mobile hydraulics with the addition of pump drives and special gears. With competent agencies, the company is local worldwide.
