Agricultural machine of the year with Stiebel technology

Hanover / Waldbröl.

In the framework of Agritechnica, the world's largest trade fair for agricultural technology, the Deutsche Landwirtschaftsverlag publisher granted the "Machines of the year 2014" award.
The nominated self-propelled beet digger Terra Dos T4-40 of a German market leader and manufacturer for harvesting equipment  in the category "Root crop harvest" is equipped with Stiebel technology.

The Terra Dos T4-40 features a Mercedes Benz engine with 460 kW (626 HP) and a pump transfer gear (PVG) with two powershift outputs from Stiebel Co.
The powershift pump outputs integrated in the housing allow engaging or disengaging hydraulic loads as needed.
One of the advantages is the ability of reducing the towing load when starting the engine and the other advantage is the reduction of the fuel consumption resulting in a reduction of the CO² emissions.

Thus, the Stiebel company once more highlights its performance in the area of gearbox manufacturing for mobile applications.
